Fulton Market

ABOUT FULTON MARKET

Meat packing was one of Chicago’s leading industries in the 1890s.  Twelve million hogs and cattle were processed in the stockyards of Fulton Market each year. These big warehouses have created a unique industrial architectural vibe throughout the neighborhood. Fulton Market has everything from residences and fine dining, to a hip and a trendy art scene. Fulton Market is located just two miles west of downtown with many options for public transportation.
