ABOUT NORTH SHORE
The North Shore consists of about ten affluent suburbs north of Chicago, and borders the shoreline of Lake Michigan. These suburbs consist of Wilmette, Kenilworth, Highland Park, and more. This region developed into towns when the openings of multiple colleges and railroads expanded the city of Chicago further north. The towns all have beautiful landscapes, but also have differentiating features that make each of them special.
THINGS TO DO
Glenview has a well-known forest preserve that sits on 145 acres named The Grove, and is also a National Historic Landmark.
Evanston is home to Northwestern University and this campus is breathtaking. It offers beaches, and lake views for families, students, and staff to enjoy on and off the school season.
Kenilworth has been ranked in the top eight wealthiest communities in the United States. This village’s developers were focused and intentional on using the gorgeous landscape to compliment the stunning and developing neighborhood.
